Rigging Hardware

Life Lines

We construct lifelines from vinyl coated 7x7 stainless steel wire. On boats that must meet ORC regulations, we use uncovered 1x19 stainless steel type 316 wire. All the end fittings are Type 316 stainless and are produced under exacting quality standards.

Standard Rigging

1x19 Stainless Steel Type 316 (low corrosion) wire is used to construct standing rigging. It is swaged to marine eyes, aircraft eyes, turnbuckles, T-balls, stemballs, toggle forks, aircraft forks and other terminal ends. Swageless fittings from Hi Mod, Blue Wave, StaLoc, Norseman and QuickAttach are also used to terminate wire.

Running Rigging

Halyards are constructed in our rigging shop. We use a variety of high tech fibers using standard construction methods and some special methods that we have developed in-house. Halyards are designed according to your sailing style. As a result, we use many high tech fibers for both racers and cruisers. The types of fibers we use include Zylon (PBO), Vectran, Technora, Dyneema, Spectra, Dyneema and Polyester. Our riggers are racers and they have many years of experience.

Furling Units

We specialize in installing and repairing furling systems. We sell and repair all the major manufacturers' furlers, including but not limited to, Schaefer, Harken, Furlex, Hood, Cruising Design, & Profurl.

Deck Hardware

We stock blocks and hardware made by Schaefer, Ronstan, Lewmar, Harken, Spinlock and Wichard. We speak with manufacturers on a daily basis, and can offer their complete line of products. We can design a custom deck layout for you and advise you on how to install the equipment. We also design custom deck layouts and can advise you on how to install the hardware that complements your sailing style.
